Confidentiality is a critical requirement for all data and information gathered or obtained throughout our laboratory activities.
NVRI Internal Management Committee (IMC) is committed to ensuring that all information about our laboratory activities are kept confidential by all interested parties including Personnel of the Laboratory, External Service Providers, Consultants, Agents, Accreditation Bodies and Clients. The NVRI is committed to maintain the confidentiality of source(s) of information received about a client, unless otherwise agreed by the source.
NVRI laboratory Personnel are legally committed to ensuring the confidentiality of all information obtained during laboratory activities, through signing of the impartiality and confidentiality declaration (NVRI/QMS/MSF/009).
NVRI Personnel or consultants working on behalf of NVRI are not authorized to release any proprietary information about NVRI or its Clients to any party except with a written authorization.
NVRI shall also seek authorization from the clients for any information it intends to make public about the clients outside the NVRI’s Terms and Conditions as applicable.
When NVRI is required by a court of competent authority to give information about its client(s), NVRI shall, except prohibited by law, notify the client of such request as appropriate.
NVRI ensures that confidentiality of other clients’ information is preserved when a different client(s) wishes to witness their testing activities, by ensuring adequate scheduling of test(s).
This Confidentiality Policy is communicated to and implemented by all laboratory personnel of NVRI and relevant parties through induction and approved awareness process.
