ENHANCING COOPERATION FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT: COURTESY VISIT OF A HIGH-POWERED DELEGATION FROM NASARAWA STATE UNIVERSITY, KEFFI TO NVRI VOM ON 29TH SEPTEMBER, 2021.
The Vice Chancellor Nassarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) Prof. Suleiman B. Mohammed along with his Principal Officers were on a Courtesy Visit to the NVRI Vom. Key objective of the visit is to express NSUK’s keen interest in building strong partnership with NVRI, Vom which they consider as a leader in innovative research and development. Areas of mutual collaboration would include joint research projects and mapping, personnel and student exchange visits, capacity building and technology transfer in technical areas like artificial insemination, microbiology, biotechnology, biochemistry, and other related areas.
As the NSUK looks towards celebrating its 20th anniversary, plans are at advanced stage to host the 6th Annual Research Fair between November 10th & 11th, 2021 where the Director/Chief Executive NVRI Vom is expected to give a talk. The Director/Chief Executive Dr Maryam Muhammad along with the Institute Management Committee received the delegation warmly, and looks forward to this collaboration and promised to develop the draft MoU presented into a working document within the shortest possible time. The guests were conducted round NVRI facilities to get better acquainted with the services available at the National Laboratory.
