Kangere Visit by the Extension Services

                                 KANGERE VISIT                                            22nd April 2021

The Extension Division of NVRI. Vom, embarked on a vaccination exercise to Wuro Jauro, Kangere in Bauchi State to introduce its newly developed Lumpy Skin vaccine to livestock farmers. On arrival, the Assistant Director, Veterinary Extension Services Department, Dr. Yakubu Dashe explained the reason for the visit. Two hundred and fifty cattle, four hundred local chickens were vaccinated.

Leader of the community, Ardo Umar Abdulkadir, was visibly delighted expressed his gratitude to the Executive Director, Dr. Mrs Maryam Muhammad whom he said has a passionate interest in animal health care. He suggested that the vials should contain 100 doses instead of 50.
