The Covid-19 pandemic presented grievous challenge to the world. It also offered tremendous opportunity to the global health community to demonstrate the benefits of One Health approach at combating public health emergencies. The National Veterinary Research Institute (NVRI) Vom, Nigeria played a key role in Nigeria's response to Covid-19 pandemic. By September 2020, over 34000 human samples have been analyzed and over 250000 virus transport medium used for sample collection produced. You can read all about it here.
