VISIT OF Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO), UK & PROPCOM MAI-KARFI TEAM/ NVRI VOM COLLABORATION ON 28TH SEPTEMBER, 2021.

A team from the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom comprising of Gail Warrander (Head of Economic Growth, FCDO); Nicholas Baynham (Livelihood Adviser FCDO and Programmes Responsible Officer for Propcom) and Na'anchi Muhammed (Programme Officer for Propcom at FCDO) visited the Institute to strengthen partnership and explore opportunities for further collaborations. Ovo Ugbebor (Deputy Team Leader), Salamatu Baba (Senior Programme Manager, Livestock Portfolio) and Omofaye Asala (Senior Programme Manager, Agricultural Inputs) all from Propcom Mai-Karfi accompanied the FCDO team on this visit.

The Director/Chief Executive Dr Maryam Muhammad expressed her delight over the tremendous achievements recorded through this partnership. She extends her gratitude to the FCDO and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for their interest in further strengthening this collaboration with interventions in research, vaccine distribution network and upscaling production of quality vaccines to meet national demands.

The guests were given a facility tour to gain better understanding of the potential of NVRI for quality service delivery.
